Tested this transportable lock in my household with 2 completely different doors and operates wonders! With this lock on, it will make it tremendously tough for an intruder to come in to your space. Even though the red piece is plastic it is reinforced with a metal plate underneath it which tends to make it really solid! This tends to make the whole portable lock produced of metal! Once installed, it was difficult for me to go in the property. I believe that I would have to kick the door in to jar this portable lock loose.
Outstanding additional measure of safety! I'll sleep far better realizing that even if an intruder manage to pick the locks of my hotel area, they would have to kick the door in to open it with this transportable lock in location!
